The Florida Federal Contractors Association (FFCA) hosts an annual Workshop in Washington, D.C., bringing together FFCA member company representatives with senior Congressional leaders and Administration officials to discuss federal budget trends and forecasts. This one day event is held on Capitol Hill and the schedule allows for same day travel to and from the Tampa Bay area for those who wish to do so.

 

Now in its 3rd year, the FFCA Federal Affairs Workshop typically includes a morning presentation by a senior U.S. Government acquisition or policy professional, followed by panel discussions led by senior budget and Washington office personnel from many of the largest Department of Defense prime contractors. Topics typically include budget forecasting, subcontracting and partnerships, and working with the United States Congress. The day concludes with a Congressional reception hosted by members of the regional Congressional delegation.
